Dean Tech News Round-Up

It’s been a big week in the News for Dean Tech!

Last Tuesday was the first meeting of the Dean Tech Futures Advisory Committee, a group of 35 officials and representatives from community businesses working to strengthen Dean Tech’s ties to local businesses. A strong relationship between the school and the Holyoke business community benefits Dean students by helping the school to provide career training that is responsive to business needs and providing Dean students with a strong foothold in the workforce when they graduate. Holyoke’s Parks and Recreation Department received three golf carts that looked as good as new, thanks to Dean students who worked on refinishing the ten-year-old vehicles. Read about the city’s enthusiastic response to our students’ great work in this article in The Republican.
